Have We Met? centres around Isaac, a ceiling-mounted continuum robot who moves to perceive audience members sharing his space.
A speculation on the sensation of encountering robotic curiosity, offering an interaction with a novel robotic form where movement is the shared language between the audience and the machine.
With no capacity for verbal communication, Isaac's conversation with the audience is based on movement and touch - his behaviours shifting over time as he comprehends his audience.
Offering a strange and uncertain intimacy in human-robot interaction.
