Open source scroll saw

For my final foundation project I explored the application of open source ideology to large scale tools.

This functioning scroll saw is constructed entirely out of commonly available timber. The use of traditional joinery techniques makes the saw blade the only metal hardware required to make such a complicated machine.

These steps have been taken to make the designing and building of this saw as accessible as possible - both for the ease of construction, and for clarity of understanding the machine being built.
